The Gardner Veteran’s Arena is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts public ice skating facility overseen by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). The rink was built in the 1972 and FMC took over management in 1995.
Inside the arena includes four team locker rooms, facilities for birthday parties, a spacious lobby, skate rentals, and a snack bar.

Arena Manager, Scott Demont, is in his 4th year with FMC. Scott can be found in the rink just about every day and is always willing to chat with and help out customers. Scott works closely with Regional Program Director, Katie Bedard, who has been with FMC for 8 years.
One notable skater that has come out of Gardner Veteran’s is Nicholas LaRoche. Nicholas is a 2002 Jr. Men’s National Champion, international medalist, and World Team member.
