Skating is for Everyone!
On Wednesday nights during the beginning of the season, kids of all abilities lace up their skates and head to the ice for an adaptive ice skating program at Simoni Ice Arena in Cambridge. They participate in activities including obstacle courses, a tower of blocks for building up and crashing down, races, and much more. Recently, special guests Bob Sweeney, Boston Bruins alumnus and Foundation Executive Director, and Blades joined the adaptive ice skating session!
FMC also holds adaptive skating sessions at our Fall River, East Boston, Brockton, Worcester, and Holyoke locations. Be sure to stop on by because skating is for everyone!
