FMC Club Ice sessions are ice times set aside for skaters to work on their skating elements and techniques. Some skaters receive private instruction on these sessions and others use it practice on their own.
ALL SKATERS AND COACHES MUST REGISTER ONLINE & IN ADVANCE
We apologize but we cannot admit a skater or coach if they are not on our list. Coaches only have access to A La Carte registration. To ensure that participants will show on our list, A La Carte registration and session manageability will now cut off 4 hours before a session’s start time. If you have difficulty managing sessions, with your account, etc. please contact customercare@fmcicesports.com.
PREREGISTRATION
Allows you to sign up for all sessions offered for a day/time/location during a specific date span for a discount. Preregistration is currently available for 9/14 through 10/11. Sessions purchased through preregistration are not eligible for individual session management. Make ups will not be permitted. Sessions cannot be refunded without a doctor’s medical note. A LA CARTE REGISTRATION
Allows you to pick and choose your dates. Sessions purchased through a la carte registration can be purchased and managed up to 4 hours before a session start. Withdrawn sessions cannot be refunded without a doctor’s medical note but will create an account credit that can be used for prior purchases.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT DELAYED
As of 10/12/2020, FMC Skating Club membership will be required to utilize Club Ice sessions. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through the best way to facilitate the memberships. We apologize the membership requirement could not be facilitated as quickly as expected.
Prerequisites
Skaters must:
- Be registered in advance and online. If space is available, registration will remain open up to 1 hour prior to a program’s start. We apologize in advance, but we cannot admit skaters who are not on our list.
- Have a current ISI membership. If you are not a current ISI member, the option to pay a $15 fee for us to register the membership on your behalf will be available during checkout.
- Adhere to COVID-19 guidelines. As of 8/17/20 updated guidelines require all participants to wear face coverings on the ice unless they are engaged in aerobic activity. Examples would be skating a program, MIF patterns or power drills.
- Abide by and sign off on the FMC Club Ice Rules and Etiquette
Coaches must:
- Be registered in advance and online. If space is available, registration will remain open up to 1 hour prior to a program’s start. We apologize in advance, but we cannot admit skaters who are not on our list.
- Have current Liability Insurance. Coaches must provide a copy of their current Liability Insurance certificate to aswiderski@fmcicesports.com prior to teaching.
- Adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines and new Coaching Responsibilities.
- Abide by and sign off on the FMC Club Ice Rules and Etiquette
Additional Details
Full Memberships vary depending on the benefits that can be offered. Full Membership is for skaters who wish to represent that FMC Skating Club in ISI competition or hockey players or USFS skaters who wish to benefit from the Club’s offerings. To receive the full benefits of the Club, a membership fee as well as participation and volunteering in support of the Club may be required. Skaters who take the FMC Club Group Class receive a free membership as long as they are enrolled. Membership requirements do not need to be fulfilled unless the skater is utilizing benefits such as Club Ice Practice sessions.
Associate Memberships may be available and are for skaters who already represent another ISI organization, or hockey players or USFS skaters who wish to utilize Club Practice ice. The benefit to the Associate Membership is use of Club Practice Ice sessions. A membership fee is required and the skater must have an ISI membership upon joining. If you’re not sure if you have an ISI membership through your current organization, please ask them before applying for one directly through ISI. Be sure to provide your ISI number on your application.
Professional Membership may be required for coaches to teach private lessons on our ice. Membership is required regardless of any other affiliations. Professional membership requirements are robust on purpose to ensure a professional and comfortable atmosphere. If your coach has any concerns, have them reach out to the Regional Program Director overseeing the Club.
All participants will need to comply with COVID Guidelines.
