The Road Back to the Rink is Opening

Featured Rink: Burlington Ice Palace – Burlington, MA

The Burlington Ice Palace is a Town of Burlington public ice skating facility built by the Graham family in the early 1970s. The rink was bought by the Town in 1990 and has been managed by FMC since 1998.

Inside the arena includes a conference room, facilities for birthday parties, four team locker rooms and two high school locker rooms, a spacious lobby, and a snack bar.

The rink is home to many local programs and high school teams including Burlington High School, Burlington Skating and Hockey Association (BSHA), Winchester Figure Skating Club, and our very own South Middlesex Coyotes of the New England Future Stars.

Arena Manager, Adam Busalacchi, has been with FMC for 14 years. Adam previously worked at Merrimack College, where he earned his rink certification and masters degree from Suffolk University. When Adam is not at the rink, he can be found working as a PA Announcer for the MIAA State tournaments. A fun fact about Adam is that he is the only person to be a PA Announcer at the new Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park, and the TD Garden.

Some notable skaters that have come out of the Ice Palace include former Bruin Jay Pandolfo, and Stanley Cup-winning goaltender Mike Richter, as well as Matt Yeats, Matt Morrison, and Rick DiPietro.

The Ice Palace offers plenty to do for all ages. On Tuesday and Thursday nights, check out our Adult League. On Wednesdays, take part in one of our instructional programs. In the fall, join us for a public skating session.

With a friendly staff and clean environment, the Burlington Ice Palace is a great place to have fun!
