DCR Universal Access Adaptive Skate Session

On January 23rd, DCR’s Universal Access Program hosted an adaptive skate session at Buffone Arena in Worcester. Over 60 participants joined us on the ice for a day of fun that included everyone! Some were taking their first step on the ice while others frequent the program and know all the tips and tricks to adaptive skating.

Ice sleds and walkers are available for those who need them. Participants are also welcome to use certain wheelchairs. Hockey sticks, pucks, cones, foam blocks and more are provided for participants to enjoy some easy going games on the ice.
