Shamrock Splash

The 2023 JetBlue Shamrock Splash at Constitution Beach held by Save the Harbor/Save the Bay took place on Sunday, March 12 at 1pm in East Boston. This event is held to help benefit free public events on our region’s public beaches in the summer. The event was a huge success with record numbers of people who showed up and a record number of people entering the water for the “splash”! According to Kristen Barry, Deputy Executive Director of Save the Harbor/Save the Bay, they surpassed their fundraising goal, and with a few more donations still rolling in, they are shaping up to surpass $57,000!

FMC Ice Sports was one of the Lead Sponsors for the event and was an integral part of navigating the details of the site. We offered access to changing rooms that included use of restrooms and showers. We also provided towels, which were a huge hit with those brave enough to hit the water, as well as tables, chairs and cinderblocks for various needs at the event. Special thank you to Mark Squillacioti, Arena Manager at Porrazzo and his staff for all of their help to make the event a success!
