Featuring Graduating Figure Skater, Julia Zarozinski

We are thrilled to feature Julia Zarozinski, a high school senior who has been figure skating with FMC for 13 years! She recently shared on her social media what being a part of this community has meant to her and how it has shaped her into the person she is today.

“…and that’s a wrap. These past 13 years have truly built me. The majority of the people in my life know that figure skating is and will always be a huge part of my life. Something I would like to highlight on is the sacrifices that athletes like me have made throughout our athletic careers to build the bonds with teammates and the skills we have. I have missed out on countless sleepovers, hangouts, and activities that many other kids did on weekends growing up. My evenings and weekends were spent on the ice rather than having dinner with my family, and weekends were spent at competitions rather than spending time with friends and family. Although it’s a hard sacrifice to make, I wouldn’t trade any of it for the world.
The friendships and connections I have built with teammates, and the lifelong role models, have made every hardship so worth it all. I was lucky enough to have been a leader and a role model for many of our younger skaters, which has been what has made being a part of this team so worth it. I’m so grateful beyond words to have been a part of Ice Evolution for 13 years. -JZ signing out”

Thank you Julia, and we wish you all the best in your next endeavor!

It’s not goodbye, it’s see you back on the ice soon!

*We are actively looking to feature other seniors graduating. Please reach out if you or someone you know is interested!
