A message from Scott Hamilton

Thank you to Scott Hamilton, the most recognizable figure skating star in the world, for taking the time to share about this exciting event we are hosting June 26th-June 29th at the Raynham Iceplex!

“Scott Hamilton has won over 70 titles, awards and honors including an Emmy Award Nomination, induction into the United States Olympic Hall of Fame and the World Figure Skating Hall of Fame” as well as many other prestigious awards!

Scott’s journey took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer in 1997, 20 years after losing his mother to cancer. This initial diagnosis was followed by brain tumors in 2004, 2010, and 2016. Once again, he faced adversity head-on, undergoing treatment with the same tenacity and grace that defined his skating career. After beating cancer, Hamilton dedicated himself to raising awareness and funds for cancer research and patient support.” –Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation
