New England Future Stars 2023 Season
FMC Ice Sports and the New England Future Stars would like to thank everyone for making this NEFS season the best yet! This season we had a record number of skaters with close to 900 players from all over New England!
The regular season kicked off April 24th and week after week players showed up to compete and have fun! What summer hockey is all about!
All-Star weekend 2023 took place halfway through the season and kicked off with the boys division skills competition and all-star games on July 24th. The girls division kicked off their skills competitions and games on July 25th. All skaters who participated showed their amazing work ethic and dedication they have put into their hockey skills. Goalies and skaters were handpicked by coaches to compete in skill competitions like fastest skater, best stickhandler, shootout competition and best goalie. Skaters who won their respective competitions were awarded CCM Hockey hats! Congratulations to all our NEFS All-Star selections and winners!
Joe Haggerty, lead Bruin reporter and columnist of Boston Hockey Now, said “As hockey parents we appreciate having a fun summer hockey option like the New England Future Stars for our kids to play some more hockey” about his son Finn’s experience with NEFS this summer.
The season really picked up during playoffs starting on August 6th and saw many new teams enter in the quest to win the highly coveted silver and gold cups. Championship Sunday on August 13th saw some of the most competitive games in NEFS history with multiple high scoring games. Some returning teams battled to defend their titles as champions and some newcomers took home the cup for the first time.

Varsity- Natick Chill White
