Honoring the Life of Nick Pennucci

FMC held a private ceremony and skating session over the weekend to honor the life of Nick Pennucci at Buffone Arena in Worcester, Mass.

Nick’s life and memory was celebrated with family and friends. During the private ceremony, a Montreal Canadiens jersey with Nick’s name was presented. As a die-hard Canadiens fan stuck in Bruins territory, Nick took any opportunity to boast about the Canadiens victories and took it just as much when they fell to their rival Bruins. The jersey, along with a plaque created in Nick’s memory, are now hung in the arena lobby.

Nick would have celebrated his 25th Anniversary with FMC this year. We appreciate his passion for ice sports and his ability to create a safe and fun environment for our skaters. He was a force in the arena and supported so many of the local programs in and around the Worcester community. We are honored to have had the opportunity to work with him and proud to call him a friend.
