Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ Warms Hearts in Raynham

From the first blade hitting the ice to the final cheer from the stands, the Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ Fundraiser and Competition in Raynham was an unforgettable celebration of community, courage, and kindness.

Held from June 26 – June 29 at Raynham IcePlex, the event brought together more than 150 skaters and families from across all FMC locations.

A Skating Event With Heart

With 328 skating starts and 140 event flights, the ice was full of excitement, talent, and smiles. Skaters of all ages and levels — from beginners to seasoned competitors — came to show what they could do, not just for the judges, but for something bigger.

One of the most powerful parts of the event was the “I SK8 TO ELIMIN8 CANCER” tribute wall. Nearly 70 posters lined the rink, each one created by a skater or family, sharing who they were skating for — a loved one battling cancer, someone they’ve lost, or a survivor they admire.
