The Jim Roche Community Ice Arena is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts public ice skating facility, overseen by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). FMC Ice Sports has been operating the arena, in partnership with the West Roxbury Community Center for DCR since 2006. The arena is a full service skating facility offering an extensive variety of skating programs for all ages and abilities. The facility features a cafe style snack shop, a pro shop operated by Caparell Sports (617) 840-3453, a heated conference room, as well as facilities for birthday parties. The Jim Roche Community Ice Arena provides patrons with affordable recreation in a clean, safe, and well maintained facility. |

Total Skills n' Power skating Spring II: April 30 - June 18, 2012 $149 - 8 Week Player Fee $249 - 16 Week Plyer Fee By incorporating a complete skills development program into a comprehensive weekly series, you can expect to improve your skating technique, puck skills, passing ability, endurance level, and develop into a more complete player. 2012 High School Coaches League May 24th - August 16th $299 player fee The 2012 High School Coaches League is open to all 2012/2013 eligible high school players. While most programs focus either exclusively on game play or skill sessions, the Coaches League combines both into one comprehensive program. By doing so, each participant will learn new skills and be able to put them into practical use immediately. This reinforces the learning process so players will maintain the skills they are taught and begin to develop positive habits. Dates, times, and costs vary please see individual brochures below. All players will be required to participate in a Pre-Season Player Evaluation. The tryout fee is included in the cost of the program.
