Saturday, July 24th
Pirelli Veteran's Arena, Franklin

The Boston Bruins and FMC Ice Sports are proud to announce the 2010 New England Future Stars All Star Game and Skill Challenge, taking place on July 24, at the Pirelli Veteran’s Arena in Franklin, MA.

An exciting component of this event is the Skills Challenge, held at each age division in the NEFS league. The Skills Challenge consists of 3 activities: team relay, agility skating and target shooting. Prior to the challenge, Coaches will select teams of four players to represent their respective NEFS team. An awards ceremony, honoring the 4-man winning team, will follow the Skills Challenge. The schedule of the Skills Challenge is as follows: Squirt (9am-10am), Peewee (11:30am-12:30pm), Bantam (2pm-3pm) and Midgets (4:30pm-5:30pm).

All Star Games will be played at each age division in the NEFS league. Rosters will be comprised of players selected and representative of each NEFS team. Two teams of 17 players each, 15 skaters and 2 goalies, will compete at each age level. Following each All Star Game there will be an awards ceremony, honoring the three stars of the game. The schedule of the games is as follows: Squirt (10am-11am), Peewee ( 12:30pm-1:30pm), Bantam (3pm-4pm) and Midgets (5:30pm-6:30pm). Click here for All-Star Roster

This event is open to the public and will offer several fun activities to complement the on-ice extravaganza. Along with the Skills Challenge and All Star Game, there will be Bruins sponsored activities including a free raffle for autographed memorabilia, interactive games, street hockey, Blades the Bruins mascot, free giveaways and much more!
