Service Stars – November 2016

FMC Ice Sports’ Service Stars Awards program recognizes and rewards team members who demonstrate commitment, ingenuity and extraordinary effort in delivering exceptional customer service to arena patrons. Each month, our regional managers select individuals who best represent the values and mission esteemed by FMC. Founded by President and CEO Robert McBride, the program will honor selected Service Stars each month with a certificate of appreciation and a $100 Visa gift card.

The Service Stars for the month of November are:

Western Massachusetts – Wallace Civic Center – Leo Croteau
“Leo Croteau has been at the Civic Center for 40 years this season. He has fixed and done everything here you can imagine. Leo is the go to guy for any unusual situation that may arise. Leo is a wealth of great information for our user groups and staff. If it has happened at the Civic Center, Leo has had a hand in it. Every Arena needs a Uncle Leo!”

Central Massachusetts – William L. Chase Arena – Paul Danner

“Paul Danner has jumped right in to the Asst Manager role with 2 feet taking on a lot of responsibility. Paul is able to manager all aspects of the facility and problems as they occur without hesitation. Paul is a huge asset to the William Chase Arena and we are glad to have him on our team.”

Metro Boston  – Cronin Rink – Valerie Terenzi

Valerie Terenzi has been a great hire. Besides displaying a wonderfully engaging personality with patrons, she shows an inspiring level of initiative, willingness to learn, rolls up her sleeves and pitches in with anything and everything.”

Southeastern Massachusetts  – Aleixo Arena – Lucas Saunders

“Lucas Saunders does an awesome job every day and loves being at the rink. Lucas is great with customers, staff members, and his students when he coaches learn to skate. The customers in Taunton truly do love Lucas, too. If he is not at the rink we have at least one customer asking where he is and how he is doing. He does an outstanding job getting to know customers. He is very consistent in his work ethic as well, he does the job to its entirety and then some. I don’t know how he maintains clean facility while always chatting with customers, but he does. Lucas is a great employee and a good role-model for his learn to skate students.”
