Cool Off for a Cause

Same great cause. New name. Cooler than ever.

FMC Ice Sports is proud to partner with The Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber for our annual summer fundraiser event with a new name! Formerly known as Sun Safety Skate and Donate, our 7th annual Cool Off for a Cause two week-long event will take place July 13th-24th, 2026 is at participating FMC rinks across Massachusetts.

We know everyone's life has in some way been affected by cancer and we want to help fund compassionate care as well as research to find a cure for all!!

FMC will donate nearly 150 hours of Public Skating to benefit The Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Skating is open to the public and admission is free. We are looking for a suggested donation equal to admission fee or whatever you comfortable to The Jimmy Fund.

When you participate or make a gift, you’re directly supporting Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s unique 50-50 balance between cutting-edge science and highly compassionate cancer care. Your support allows Dana-Farber leaders to enhance programs and initiatives that serve pediatric and adult patients and their families.
