FOR SKATERS IN STEP 1 & 2 PROGRAMS

Class Practice Ice

These sessions are scheduled during existing FMC program slots. Participants sign up for Class Practice Ice online or through the Skating Director. Skaters practice skills on their own in a designated section of the ice.

FOR SKATERS IN STEP 3 PROGRAMS, FIGURE SKATERS AND MORE

Freestyle Practice Ice

Freestyle Practice Ice is ice time set aside for skaters to pursue and practice advanced skating elements. Sessions are appropriate for figure skaters or skaters enrolled in Step 3 programs, although other skaters may be admitted with certain conditions. Sessions are 40-50 minutes long.

PRIVATE LESSONS

Skaters who need additional help, prefer one on one or have the desire to pursue more committed skating endeavors may hire instructors directly to provide private or semi-private instruction. Lesson rates vary by instructor. Ice time on which private lessons can be taught is limited to Freestyle Practice Ice. If you are interested in private lesson instruction, please contact your Program Director for more information.

FOR HOCKEY PLAYERS

Public Hockey sessions are available in select locations. All sessions require full equipment and some may be limited to specific ages or abilities.
